Cancer fund invites vendors for Health & Wellness Fair

The Lake Almanor Cancer Fund invites individuals and organizations to be part of a Health & Wellness Fair July 31 dedicated to empowering the community through knowledge and connection. The event is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Almanor Recreation Center, presented in collaboration with Seneca Healthcare District.

“In our ongoing efforts to support local individuals and families, we’ve discovered a significant gap in awareness about the many valuable services and resources available right here in our area,” said fund representatives. “This event is designed to bridge that gap — bringing together organizations, providers and community members in one welcoming space.”

Examples of vendors include those offering preventive care, wellness resources, fitness opportunities and support services. Organizers invite folks to host a free booth to share information about services, offer opportunities for scheduling or signups and connect directly with those who can benefit most from what they provide. To help create an engaging and interactive experience, the fund encourages participants to include swag, games, giveaways or hands-on activities that draw people in and spark meaningful conversations.

“Together, we can build a healthier, more informed community,” said organizers. Those with questions can contact fund representatives at [email protected].
