HANOVER, PA. (WHTM) — A new Planet Fitness facility will soon debut at a York County shopping plaza.
Planet Fitness is currently gearing up to debut a brand new fitness facility at the North Point Plaza on 1150 Carlisle Street in Hanover, according to Planet Fitness’s webpage for the new location.

“We are coming soon,” Planet Fitness says on their website. “Our brand new location will feature state-of-the-art equipment, the PF Black Card Spa®, clean locker rooms, and super friendly team members.”
According to a property brochure posted by Loopnet, the new Planet Fitness will come to occupy a 14,335 square foot space, situated next door to an existing Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.
Planet Fitness has not yet shared an opening date for the new facility, but the new location’s pre-grand opening sale is listed as ‘Coming Soon’.

Once open, this will become the second Planet Fitness to enter into the Hanover region, with the first once being situated just down the road at 781 Baltimore Street.
Planet Fitness was first founded back in 1992 in Dover, NH, and has now grown to one of the largest fitness center franchisors in the world. As of March 2026, Planet Fitness has about 21.5 million members across 2,909 clubs in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Panama, Mexico, Australia and Spain.
