The Retreat Costa Rica debuts Vida Mía Longevity Centre

The new longevity centre will offer nervous system medicine, cellular regeneration and whole-body optimisation therapies

Neural therapy using micro-injections of local anaesthetic procaine will be on offer

PEMF, hydrogen therapy and IV nutrient therapy are on the menu

Future services include Neurofocal Biological Dentistry

Luxury wellness resort, The Retreat Costa Rica, has introduced its Vida Mía Longevity Centre at the property’s Vida Mía Healing Centre and Spa.

The longevity centre adds physician-guided programming to the resort, which was founded in 2015 by celebrity chef, author and wellness coach Diana Stobo as a sanctuary for repair and regulation. Her belief that the body can heal once it feels safe continues to lead the retreat’s development.

Stobo said: “True longevity isn’t about chasing youth, it’s about creating the conditions for the body to remember how to heal. The Vida Mía Longevity Centre is our most ambitious offering yet and it reflects everything we believe about what wellness can and should be.”

The new facility will offer nervous system medicine, cellular regeneration and whole-body optimisation therapies.

Neuro-wellness

The property will provide bioenergetic evaluations in the form of a non-invasive assessment using bioenergetic and mineral analysis, which is said to map the body’s stress load. This will provide a blueprint for subsequent personalised treatments.

Neural therapy will also be on the menu – using micro-injections of a local anaesthetic called procaine to reset the autonomic nervous system. This is described as a way to release “interference fields and stored patterns of trauma, scar tissue and inflammation that disrupt the body’s internal communication.” A 60-minute treatment costs US$300 (€276, £234).

A technology-assisted guided biofeedback experience trains the nervous system to return to calm. The 90-minute session, which costs US$450 (€414, £351), uses heart rate variability and breath sensors to capture real-time feedback.

Cellular optimisation

The cellular therapies on offer at the centre include PEMF. A 30-minute session costs US$180 (€166, £140).

Hydrogen therapy, which is said to neutralise damaging free radicals without disrupting the body’s natural processes, costs US$180 (€166, £140) for 60 minutes.

IV nutrient therapy is also on offer, in addition to peptide therapy for hormonal balance, metabolic function, immune support and tissue regeneration.

Curated longevity programming

Vital Recharge – a package that costs US$525 (€483, £410) and includes neural therapy, PEMF and hydrogen therapy. This combination is said to provide a full reset for the nervous system and is ideal for “restoring energy, reducing pain and rebalancing the body.”

Mind and Body Harmony – inclusive of a biofeedback neuro-wellness session and hydrogen therapies, this package is described by the retreat as a gentle, yet powerful pairing that is meant to calm the mind while restoring the body at a cellular level. The price is US$525 (€483, £410).

Ultimate Longevity Protocol – this is the centre’s comprehensive single-day package. It includes neural therapy, PEMF, hydrogen therapy and a biofeedback neuro-wellness session. This experience costs US$900 (€828, £702).
