Popular Supplement Recalled After Hospitalizations Linked to Dangerous Bacteria Outbreak

  • June 13, 2026

A popular supplement has been recalled due to the possibility of its infection with Salmonella. According to Food Safety News, this is in connection with a current FDA and CDC investigation into the outbreak.

More specifically, the affected product is TNVitamins and Doctor’s Pride Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood Moringa Capsules.

The products were sold and distributed nationwide through a variety of retailers. These include Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Target, as well as the companies’ websites, tnvitamins.com and doctorspride.com.

The Food and Drug Administration in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control notified the parent company, Total Nutrition Inc. of Deer Park, New York, that the moringa present within the capsules may harbor Salmonella.

Following this announcement, all sales have been stopped. The investigation into the outbreak is still ongoing.
