An immunity test for COVID-19 could be available at Australia’s airports and quarantine hotels by the end of the year.
The 15 minute test would determine whether a traveler is immune to the coronavirus after either having a vaccine or being infected.
Up to 30 people could have their results processed at the same time via finger prick.
The business plan is being pitched to the Morrison government and could be used to help reopen economies and restart international travel.
The initiative could be available in Australia from July, pending government approval.
