ATLANTA, Ga. (ATL Live) – July 10th is National French Fry Day, and WANF’s ATL Live leaned into the celebration with a menu known for doing fries a little differently. Chef Tomas Lee, Chef/Owner of Hankook Taqueria, joined hosts Ava Braatz and Savannah Louie to break down what goes into the restaurant’s signature fry options and how they fit into Hankook’s Korean-inspired tacos, bowls, and burritos.
On the menu, Hankook’s sesame fries are tossed with sesame oil, seasoning, and red pepper flakes. For viewers who like their fries loaded, the kimchi fries add kimchi, queso, a fried egg, gochujang, and green onions on top of sesame fries, with an option to add protein.
