FloSports announced on July 15 a partnership between FloElite and the CrossFit Games, presented by Air National Guard. The partnership makes FloElite the exclusive global media partner for the world renowned competition.
Following the announcement, FloSports CEO Mark Floreani joined the CrossFit “The Sport Of Fitness Podcast” to discuss topics ranging from how the company was created to going into detail on FloElite’s commitment to the CrossFit Games.
Floreani joined special guest host, CrossFit Games veteran James Hobart to let CrossFit fans know all the important information so they can keep watching the sport they love on a new home.

“CrossFit and the CrossFit Games. We dabbled a little bit in the community, but just excited to be back and investing in it,” Floreani Said. “Our mission at Flo is grow our sports every day, and we want to be a part of that community.”
How Will FloElite Help Grow The CrossFit Games?
FloSports is home to over 20 sports and broadcasts thousands of sporting events per year.
According to Mark Floreani, the commitment to growing the sport and the CrossFit Games is no different than other sports on the platform.
“We know through our other sports that we have to grow it,” Floreani said. “The event and the governing body like CrossFit has to be successful. The athletes have to be successful and have more monetization. Trying to figure out how to feed that ecosystem is what we do best. We truly want to grow this.”
‘We’re excited about the sport and we want to be a long-term partner, Floreani added. “Our model is to bring authenticity and get people in and really drive the whole community forward.”

The goal is to create more opportunities for fans to follow CrossFit throughout the year—not just during the Games—with additional athlete features, competition coverage, and original content. The partnership will provide a mix of free and subscription segments, and a FloSports subscription gives CrossFit fans access to thousands of live events across the FloSports network.
