Bon Dosirak and Nanum Vitamin Expand Meal Support for Children at Risk of Skipping Meals

  • July 28, 2026

Bon Dosirak and social venture Nanum Vitamin are continuing a warm campaign by significantly expanding meal support for children at risk of skipping meals. The two companies said on the 28th that on the 22nd they held a donation handover ceremony at the headquarters of Bonai F㈜ to support meals for children at risk of skipping meals.

On the day, the two companies shared the purpose of their campaign to broaden children’s meal-choice options and directions for future cooperation, and delivered meal support funds worth 6.5 million won to be delivered to children in the Gyeonggi and Incheon regions through the NabiYam platform. The donation was designed so that children at risk of skipping meals can enjoy a warm meal by choosing the menu they want directly at nearby stores without worrying about others’ attention.

The funds are delivered through NabiYam, a neighborhood warm-meal sharing platform operated by Nanum Vitamin, to children in the Gyeonggi and Incheon regions who have been certified for meal support cards, as Bon Dosirak meal coupons. The campaign started from positive experiences of meal support previously carried out by Bon Dosirak and NabiYam last year. In Incheon and Yeongdeungpo, the two provided a total of 705 meals to 196 households across 16 stores, and received praise for how it felt like they prepared meals with care for participating families.

Based on the voices of participating families like this, the companies expanded their support scope and benefits further this year. By the end of November, they will provide 617 meal coupons worth 10,000 won each that can be used at a total of 109 Bon Dosirak stores, including 94 stores in Gyeonggi and 15 in Incheon. In particular, they raised the support amount from 8,500 won last year to 10,000 won, and also expanded participating stores from 16 to 109, making it easier for more children to use the service conveniently within their daily living area.

This campaign is not only about filling up meals. It places great meaning on expanding children’s meal-choice options. The core is to let children directly choose a Korean meal table made up of rice, side dishes, and soup at nearby stores, so they can fully enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal rather than simply grabbing something to eat for a meal.

Kim Chan-seok, director of Bon Dosirak Headquarters, said, “Through last year’s campaign, we confirmed that a warm meal from a lunch box can become real strength in a child’s and family’s day,” adding, “This year, we will expand support to more regions and stores so that children can enjoy a hearty meal comfortably.”

Kim Ha-yeon, CEO of Nanum Vitamin, also said she is determined to “connect the company’s goodwill and local stores even more closely so that it’s not support that simply fills a meal, but one where children can directly choose the meal they want and sit in front of a well-set table.” Bon Dosirak and Nanum Vitamin plan to continue raising children’s access to meals and their choice options for children at risk of skipping meals based on local stores and digital platforms, and to keep carrying out meal sharing that people can realistically feel in everyday life.
