Kent Nutrition wins IPPE Best of the Best Award for Argis probiotic

Kent Nutrition‘s Argis probiotic has been named a Best of the Best Award winner for the Animal Food category in the New Product Showcase at the International Production & Processing Expo 2026 in Atlanta. The award honors exhibitors whose innovations demonstrate exceptional advancement and impact within the animal agriculture industry.

Selected from a competitive field of exhibitors, Argis earned top recognition for its approach to improving feed efficiency and animal performance with a unique strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, which helps unlock the full nutritional potential of soybean meal in poultry and swine diets. Judges recognized Argis for reducing the need for multiple individual exogenous enzymes while maintaining stability through heat processing and lower pH environments, key challenges faced by producers.

The award was presented during a special ceremony Jan. 27 in the Discovery Zone at the IPPE show. Kale Causemaker, senior director, innovative solutions at animal nutrition company Kent Nutrition, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
