A Kingsport-based meal service is offering Tri-Cities families a way to save time while sticking to healthy eating goals.
Smash Meals in Kingsport sells chef-made, high-protein meals that are fully macro-counted and delivered fresh each week, providing a convenient option for people with busy schedules or fitness goals. Owner Lewis Kizer said all meals are 100% gluten-free and prepared fresh.
Customers can pick up meals on Sundays and Mondays in Kingsport, Bristol, Johnson City and Greeneville. The business also ships meals across the country.
Kizer said the company also focuses on giving back locally by providing work opportunities for teens.
“We provide income, and we provide job training for a lot of teenagers because we’re not a full-time business. We only hire people 1 or 2 times a week…but because of that we can hire a lot of homeschool kids. We have the ability to do that….and you’re supporting someone right here in the area,” Kizer said.
