In recognition of the role this research plays in UN Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 8, this Collection is open to original research on workplace wellness and health promotion, including the development and testing of new plans, understanding and improving participation, and changes in work design to improve health and wellness.
As full-time employees spend a large portion of their time in the workplace, it is an ideal setting to promote health and wellness. Employers can provide opportunities to improve wellness in the workplace and incentives to promote healthy habits outside the workplace. However, there may be barriers to participation, such as employee concerns about privacy or lack of support from management.
