SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV)+ — Beach season has a way of sneaking up fast — but getting stronger, leaner, or simply feeling more confident doesn’t have to start in a gym.
Health expert Heather Doney joined ARC Salt Lake with practical tips on at-home workouts, beginner-friendly fitness habits, and simple nutrition strategies to help people build momentum before summer.
She also talked about realistic ways to stay consistent, even for people who don’t love traditional workouts, and why small daily choices can make the biggest difference over time.

Doney said anyone can exercise from home to get into beach shape.
“We always think that we have to have an expensive membership or have all this expensive equipment,” she said. “We can do some much at without equipment to get our bodies moving and just get in shape.”
