Balanced Nutrition hosting “Food 4 Families” fundraiser for Watertown CSD
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – One local business is lending a hand to help fight food insecurity in the Watertown City School District.
Balanced Nutrition, which is located in the plaza across the street from Watertown High School, is hosting an all-day fundraiser to for the district’s Food 4 Families program.
According to a Parentsquare message from Watertown CSD, 10 percent of sales on Monday, May 4 will go towards the program.
Food 4 Families is a program that provides children with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food to take home on weekends when other resources are not available.
The fundraiser will be going on during the stores business hours of 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
