I have been using this vitamin C for some time. I like them because most vitamin C is derived from corn and most corn in USA is GMO and sprayed with herbicide. The corn in this vitamin C is from Scotland and is not GMO. 1000 mg per cap is nice too.
I researched the manufacturing of Vitamin C and found that Doctors Best was listed in the top 3 “best” for you. I was very comfortable ingesting Doctors Best knowing it wasnt manufactured in China.
Its an excellent product, and I would recommend it to anyone who is particular about what they ingest in their bodies.
Vitamin C, the cornerstone vitamin supplement. Im not an alternate health nut, but Im hovering nearby. And Vit C is super critical to maintain your health and lets not to forget that it prevents Scurvy as well.
LOL. I dont know one person who ever had Scurvy. But whoever thought up that name deserves kudos for name invention. Good name for a bad disease. But lack of Vit C can certainly throw your health out of whack in many ways.
When Im not lazy I make my own Lipo- C, but admittedly Im lazy when it comes to spending the 1/2 hr. minimum time required to make up a good batch. Meanwhile, of all the Vitamin C brand supplements out there, this one definitely seems superior to me.
Its almost like you can feel it. My wife is prone to colds and flu. Often on the verge. Too many daily temperature changes on her job plus heavy public contact.
This has worked to ward off her “coming down with something ” many a time. Regardless, I take one one in the morning and one before bedtime. I know my supplements and this one is a step above the rest.
Strange though; Scottish Vit C. Who knew? Its not something Id expect them to excel at, but whatever they do down at that Quali C factory makes this Vit C better than the others Ive tried over the years.
