In this video, Hansaji explains how to naturally overcome vitamin D deficiency and strengthen your bones, mood, sleep cycle, and immunity. Known as the sunshine vitamin, vitamin D works with calcium to support bone health, muscle function, and overall vitality. Instead of relying on supplements, Hansaji shares powerful ways to naturally enhance your body’s ability to produce and absorb vitamin D.

Here are 5 remedies to boost vitamin D naturally:
• Get early morning sunlight (7:30–9:30 am) for 15–20 minutes to activate vitamin D production.
• Massage your skin with sesame oil before stepping into the sun to improve absorption.
• Add supportive foods like sun-dried mushrooms, black sesame seeds (rich in magnesium), and traditional ghee for better assimilation.
• Avoid blockers like bathing too soon after sun exposure, excess caffeine, and processed diets that hinder calcium and vitamin D absorption.
• Use herbs like ashwagandha and bay leaf to support stress reduction and nutrient assimilation.

Tips: Walk barefoot on natural ground during sunlight exposure and practice deep breathing to enhance the benefits. These simple lifestyle changes can protect against vitamin D deficiency and bring balance to body and mind.

Namaskar. Do you know what do your bones, what do your moods, what do your immunities, what do your natural cycles and your sleep cycle have all in common. They are all deeply influenced by one silent nutrient that is vitamin D or sunshine vitamin D. Even research has shown that vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium, support bone health, muscle function, and affects immunity. See, unlike most nutrients, your body doesn’t rely only on food to get vitamin D. When sunlight touches your bare skin, it activates a special process under the surface of your skin and your body actually begins to manufacture vitamin D on its own. You don’t need capsules for vitamin D, just light skin and few quiet minutes. And despite living in the country which has so much sunlight, vitamin D deficiency is rising faster than ever before. So today let’s understand why this is happening and I will also guide you with some five natural and powerful ways to boost your vitamin D and then at the end I will also share with you some natural secrets that can really help your body absorb and use these vital nutrients. The first remedy is knowing the golden hour to get sunlight. Your body only makes vitamin D when it gets right kind of sunlight. Specifically UVB rays. These are present in the morning hours. Typically between 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. depending on the season and your location. After this window, UVB rays start to reduce and UVA rays increases. These don’t help with vitamin D, but do contribute to tanning and skin damage. So, aim for early morning light. Let the sun touch larger areas of your skin like arms, legs, or back. Just 15 20 minutes of this quiet practice a few times a week can naturally improve your vitamin D level. The next step is oil your skin with sesame oil and then step into the sun. Dry and inflamed skin absorbs less sunlight efficiently. So if you want to optimize your body’s ability to make vitamin D, you have to prepare the skin. So practice this beautiful morning ritual or warm oil self massage. And for this cold pressed sesame oil is ideal. It nourishes the skin, supports the lymphatic system and improves circulation. Massage it gently into your skin before you go for bath or even before sun exposure. This not only keeps the skin hydrated and youthful, but also creates a most receptive surface for lightbased nutrient synthesis. And just like that, your skin care routine becomes a vitamin D ritual. The third method to boost vitamin D naturally is to eat vitamin D supportive food, not just fortified one. While most foods don’t directly contain vitamin D, certain natural foods can support your body’s production and absorption of it. Some options for this are sundried mushrooms like shiake mushroom or oyster mushroom. When exposed to sunlight, these mushrooms naturally create a form of vitamin D called vitamin D2. Second comes black sesame seeds. They are rich in magnesium, a mineral that helps convert vitamin D into its active form in body. Third is ghee. A specially traditional cultured ghee. This helps your body absorb fat soluble vitamins like vitamin D and carries them deep into the tissue. In ayurate these are known as stages enhancing food. Those that hold energy of the sun itself. The next important tip to remember is to remove daily blockers of vitamin D. So here’s let’s look at what’s getting in the way of vitamin D production. The first mistake is washing too soon after sun exposure. Your skin needs a few hours to fully convert sunlight into usable vitamin D. Avoid using harsh soap immediately after. Next, avoid excess caffeine, especially in the morning on an empty stomach. It can interfere with mineral absorption like magnesium and calcium that are vital for vitamin D pathways. Third, avoid overly processed diets. Remember, vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. Without good fat, it won’t be absorbed. So support your body by simplifying protect your skin. Cut back on blockers and eat whole traditional fat in moderation. The fifth remedy is a herb that supports the D pathways. Now our herbs may not contain vitamin D. Some ayurvedic herbs help your body become more efficient at producing, converting and using it. Sea herbs like ashwaga gadha reduces chronic stress which interferes with vitamin D synthesis. Then we have bay leaf known as tage pata which supports nutrient absorption including vitamin D. And now at the end let me give you some extra tips that few people talks about. The first is take a walk on natural earth or grass while in the sun. This grounds your body and enhances natural absorption. And practice 5 minutes of deep breathing during sun exposure. Your breath, your skin, and your light source. When all three are aligned, healing begins. So don’t just chase supplements. Use these natural methods to boost your vitamin D levels. With small mindful changes you can bring your balance, strengthen your bones, improve your mood and awaken the light within. Namaskar.
