Aguas Buenas Mayor Karina Nieves Serrano held an event Tuesday dedicated to the well-being, development and enjoyment of children, as part of Children’s Week, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to the protection, well-being and support of the children of the municipality.
Under the motto “Magical Stories that Illuminate Little Hearts,” the activity was held at Samuel “Sammy” Rodríguez Coliseum, where more than 150 boys and girls of different ages participated, including participants from the city council’s childcare centers, who enjoyed a day full of joy, learning and togetherness.
The initiative included games, a services fair, and storytelling sessions, promoting physical activity, emotional well-being, and access to services in a safe and family-friendly environment.
“We are committed to our children,” the mayor said, adding that the town would be planning other projects to foster safe environments for children’s growth. “Seeing them enjoy themselves, learn, and share in a space designed especially for them reaffirms our responsibility to continue creating initiatives that support their comprehensive development.”
