Community members will have the opportunity to explore local health resources and wellness opportunities during the upcoming “Catch the Wellness Wave” Wellness Fair hosted by Butler County School’s Peer Helpers program. The event will take place on Apr. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Greenville City Hall.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time together while also investing in your health,” said Mental Health Services Coordinator for the Butler County Board of Education, Michelle Thigpen. “Events like the Wellness Fair remind us that taking care of ourselves doesn’t have to be done alone. Our community is full of people and organizations ready to help.”
The event, organized to highlight resources available within the community, will bring together local organizations, healthcare providers, fitness experts and community groups focused on promoting physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Attendees can expect a variety of offerings, including health screenings, wellness tips, interactive activities and informational booths designed to help individuals and families make informed decisions about their health.
“Whether you are looking to learn more about nutrition, explore fitness opportunities, or discover support services available in the area, the Wellness Fair is a great place to start,” Thigpen said.
