BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — A local maternal care practice is expanding with a new location designed to feel more like home than a clinic.
Optimal Nurturing Lactation and Wellness opened a second location in Bristol, Tennessee, designed inside a home to feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming.
From the first questions during pregnancy to the transition beyond infancy, Optimal Nurturing is focused on helping parents feel confident every step of the way.
Our breastfeeding rates in Tennessee are actually lower than the national average and so we need more lactation consultants and more breast-feeding support for moms. We found that a lot of people really struggle and we’re here to help through those struggles and return resting challenges into triumphs, said Optimal Nurturing Lactation and Wellness Owner, Heather Hutton.
The grand opening is Thursday night at the new location on 1523 6th Street Extension in Bristol, Tennessee from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
