Queen Camilla has ‘happy hormone’ facial and beauty cream to prep for royal visit

The eyes of the world are upon Queen Camilla during the royal tour of the United States, and GH can reveal she’s using a truly feelgood skin therapy to ensure she looks her glowiest best. Her facialist, Deborah Mitchell, has been treating Her Majesty to a special new type of treatment, all founded on a ‘happy hormone’ beauty cream.

Deborah has looked after the Queen’s skin for the past two decades, and her Heaven Skincare brand holds two royal warrants for its products and beauty treatments. Her latest launch is Eternal, a face cream designed to support skin through the menopause and beyond, and one that Queen Camilla has already made part of her regular regime.

The Eternal cream contains what Deborah describes to GH as ‘a natural bio-identical hormonal support ingredient’. She adds, ‘The cream is totally unique, and a game changer for making you look and feel younger, from both inside and out. It doesn’t just make skin look younger – it’s making you feel happier and calmer, too. I couldn’t believe the difference I personally felt from using it, and we’ve had hundreds of testers saying the same.’

While Deborah can’t, of course, say how the Queen herself is feeling, she can confirm that she is using both the cream and a new complementary Eternal facial as part of her beauty regime. ‘While it’s not for me to share the Queen’s thoughts on individual products, I can certainly say she loves Heaven Skincare – I wouldn’t have the accolade of her royal warrants if she didn’t,’ she tells GH. ‘I’ve been treating her for 20 years now so that’s a good sign!’

At 78, the Queen is certainly looking well as she carries out her American duties, and Deborah agrees. ‘I think she looks incredible,’ she tells us. ‘I’ve loved watching her get younger as I’ve got older. Sometimes she surprises me how good she looks when I see her. She does all this work, she shouldn’t look so refreshed before I even start a treatment!’

It’s not just an outer glow either, says Deborah. ‘I know how beautiful she is on the inside, too,’ she tells us. ‘If there’s one person I feel is even better than a friend, it’s her. She’s my favourite person. My life wouldn’t be the same without being in her presence. She’s a rarity, an absolute jewel.’

The Queen has been one of the first to benefit from the refinements Deborah has made to her Eternal facial, prompted by her own health journey after needing surgery recently. ‘I’m striving for perfection all the time,’ Deborah explains. ‘I improved the treatment after I had an operation and my face needed just that little extra. I want clients to have that same boost I needed in my own recovery.’

‘The Queen was so very lovely when I was off,’ she tells us. ‘I’ve been back now, and I’ve loved treating her even more because she cares so much. She’s thoughtful to the nth degree.’

Deborah’s new treatment certainly sounds ideal for anyone facing the pressure of global scrutiny. As well as using the Eternal ‘happy’ cream, ‘the facial releases all the fascia on the face in a way that totally relaxes the client,’ Deborah tells us. ‘They feel great after it, and their skin goes tighter, smoother. If people are having hormonal or stress issues, this facial is like having a holiday within themselves.’

No wonder it’s royally approved.
