Hard Core: Reformers roll into Nocatee with new fitness studio set to open this year

Get ready to roll, Nocatee—another fitness option is flexing into town.

BODYBAR Pilates is set to open in Fall 2026 at Marketplace at Nocatee, bringing reformer-based workouts, a boutique studio feel, and a new place for residents to test their core strength.

For the uninitiated, reformers are specialized Pilates machines that use a sliding carriage, springs, straps, and a footbar to create resistance-based workouts.

This setup allows for controlled exercises that target strength, flexibility, and core stability at the same time.

Because the resistance can be scaled up or down, reformers are used for both beginners and advanced athletes, offering a wide range of movements in a guided format.

The locally owned studio, run by residents of Twenty Mile at Nocatee, is designed around low-impact, strength training with a modern Pilates approach, The Parc Group said in an announcement.

Inside, the space will feature 14 reformers for smaller class sizes, aiming for a personalized workout experience rather than your typical crowded gym floor.

Beyond the burn, BODYBAR will also include a retail section with athletic wear and athleisure—because nothing says post-workout balance like immediately shopping for more outfits to work out in.

BODYBAR Pilates Mandarin in Jacksonville will serve as a sister location.

The studio is part of the expanding Marketplace at Nocatee, anchored by a new Publix Supermarket and located off Valley Ridge Boulevard on the west side of Nocatee Town Center.

The development continues to add retail, dining, and office space as the fast-growing community builds out more everyday conveniences.

More tenants are expected to be announced shortly as the project develops.
