Clinical-grade supplement brand Triquetra Health has announced the expansion of its nutritional supplement portfolio with the launch of two new products: Instant Aminos Essential Amino Acids + BCAAs and FolinicActive Adult 1 mg.
The launches target two growing areas of the nutraceutical market: sports nutrition and personalised methylation support.
The company said in its release that the formulations have been designed to address common consumer complaints around protein digestion and folate tolerance.
Instant Aminos is positioned as a free-form essential amino acid (EAA) tablet containing all nine essential amino acids in an optimised ratio.
According to the company, the formulation bypasses traditional protein digestion, aiming to reduce bloating and digestive discomfort often associated with protein powders.
The product delivers a 4000 mg amino acid complex per four-tablet serving, including leucine, lysine acetate, valine and isoleucine, alongside the remaining essential amino acids.
The vegan, non-GMO formula is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility and tested for potency, purity and heavy metals.
In its statement, Triquetra cited published research suggesting free-form amino acids may achieve faster absorption and higher bioavailability than intact proteins, positioning the product as a convenient alternative for active consumers seeking muscle recovery support without shakes or powders.
Alongside its sports nutrition launch, the company has also introduced FolinicActive, a folinic acid-based supplement designed as an alternative to conventional L-methylfolate products.
The formula combines folinic acid (calcium folinate) with what the company describes as a “Tri-Cofactor System,” incorporating active forms of vitamins B12, B6 and B2 to support folate metabolism pathways.
According to Triquetra, the product was developed for consumers who experience side effects such as restlessness or sleep disruption when taking L-methylfolate supplements.
The company estimates that between 15-25% of adults may benefit from a different approach to folate supplementation.
FolinicActive is available in both USDA Organic liquid and vegan capsule formats, with both versions delivering identical doses of folinic acid and active B vitamins.
Triquetra said that both products are manufactured in FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facilities and undergo third-party testing for purity and potency.
Sean Gill, founder and CEO of Triquetra Health, said the company aims to address gaps in existing supplement categories through evidence-based formulations designed around consumer experience.
We built this for the people who’ve been underserved by the existing category.
