Boosting Your Immune Support – What’s The Best Vitamin?
=

Growing up, I would always get sick. It’s like I had a perpetual cold, it was always coming and going.
Then, I’d ALSO get the flu or a sinus infection every year. I couldn’t understand why since I ate well and exercised daily.
So, one day I just had it and I did everything I could to boost my immune system because I just HATE getting sick.
Not only do you feel like junk – but you get nothing done.
I’m going to do an entire video series about boosting your immune system, so make sure you’re subscribed to my channel and click the notification icon so you’ll get alerted when I release them
However, this brings up one of the “immune-boosting” topics based on a viewers question to me.
“Dr. Robbins – if you had to pick one vitamin for boosting your immune, what would it be?”
So, today I’m going to give you two answers – so make sure you watch to the end.
First, the best “vitamin” I would say is Vitamin D. However, it’s not technically a vitamin, it’s actually a hormone.
And you know how powerful hormones are and that’s why I’ve listed Vitamin D as my personal favorite and #1 “vitamin” – only because that’s how most everyone labels it as, a “vitamin”.
However, there is a REAL vitamin that I would technically list as #1 and I’ll tell you about that in a minute
However, I want to finish off the Vitamin D topic first.
Here are simple facts about Vitamin D you’d be interested to know:
It’s primarily produced from the sun and UV rays, hitting your skin, interacting with cholesterol (a precursor to other hormones, such as testosterone) and other factors to help produce vitamin D in your body.

Unfortunately, most people are deficient in Vitamin D and have low levels when doing a blood test. One main reason is due to lack of sunlight. Also, if you’re taking certain medications such as cholesterol-lowering drugs, you have a harder time producing Vitamin D

And yes, despite me getting sunlight every day in Nevada and California, I’ve always had low or sub-par levels of Vitamin D and that’s why I supplement it.

Vitamin D should be taken with Vitamin K, another fat-soluble vitamin. They work together to help absorb calcium into your bones and not into your arteries.

The correct forms are vitamin D3 and K2 (MK-7)

Micro-encapsulated, plant-based D3 is better absorbed.

As far as dosages, after seeing hundreds of blood tests and dealing with all sorts of people, ages and so forth, I think a good, ideal and healthy dose is 125 mcg of D3 (5000 units) + 50 mcg of K2. Take this daily, in the morning with food.

If I’m feeling sick, I actually take 4x this dose for a few days and immediately I am well. It seems almost overnight my immune system shoots up and kills everything bad in my body.

However, I rarely get sick now since I keep my Vitamin D levels and immune system optimal.
I’ve listed below in the description area, the product I use. It contains all the right amounts, dosages, etc. Scroll down, click the link and you’ll get a big discount too … so it comes out to like $8 a month or less.
It’s super affordable and you have NO excuse not to utilize it since vitamin D has so many health, fitness and longevity benefits.
…
Now, going back to what I had stated earlier – I believe the best TRUE vitamin for boosting your immune system is vitamin C.
I take about 3000-5000 mg daily and up to 10,000 when I’m feeling sick or stressed out.
I’ll get much deeper into Vitamin C and the immune system in future videos – the best form, dosages, when to take it, etc.

But, I didn’t want to leave you hanging today…
Don’t forget to scroll down to the description area and get your Perfect Vitamin D+K combo.
