FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – It’s never a good idea to put one’s health on the back burner and a Fort Wayne organization is making sure people do not do that.
Moden Collective is an organization that advocates for families in the community through helping people with housing, stable employment and insurance.
It is hosting a community wellness pop-up event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion on East Lewis Street.
There will be blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, vital checkups, basic health education and more resources offered on Saturday. Also, free food and gift card giveaways will be handed out.
