Some of the best luxury beauty deals we've seen are hiding at TJ Maxx, starting at just $6

Let’s get one thing straight, people. There is no such thing as a quick trip to TJ Maxx. I have never once walked into a one for a “quick peek” and actually made it out in under an hour. What I have done is walk out with a glorious, magnificent pile of designer beauty products I didn’t know I needed — at prices that made me clutch my invisible pearls (in a good way). That’s the magic of the ‘Maxx, and the consumer serotonin it delivers is truly unmatched.

While most people know TJ Maxx for discounted designer fashion and home finds, the beauty section is wildly underrated. Tucked between the candles and handbags, you’ll find prestige skin care, salon-worthy hair tools, designer fragrance and the best Korean beauty staples at deep discounts. We’re talking Pat McGrath and Christian Louboutin shelved right alongside Murad and CosRx — all at prices that will make you do a double take.

Now, in case you’ve read somewhere that discounted beauty products are automatically sketchy, let’s clear that up. TJ Maxx (and its sister store, Marshalls) are legitimate off-price retailers under the TJX umbrella. On its corporate site, TJX explains that it sources merchandise by taking advantage of opportunities like department store order cancellations, excess production from manufacturers and end of season closeouts when vendors need to clear inventory. In other words, when brands overproduce, retailers overbuy, or packaging gets updated, TJX purchases that surplus and sells it at a lower price.

Even better, you don’t have to shop in person to score these finds. As fun as the brick-and-mortar treasure hunt can be, I’ve found the online beauty sections to be just as stacked, with constantly rotating inventory and the same satisfying price tags, minus the long lines and hectic Saturday crowds.

Finding Pat McGrath Labs at TJ Maxx is the beauty equivalent of finding a designer bag at the back of a thrift store — you grab it immediately and ask questions later. The MatteTrance formula is legendary for a reason: It’s weightless and cushiony in a way that turns what you think a matte lipstick should feel like completely upside down. Do not pass this one up.

You can find many fan-favorite Laura Geller products at TJ Maxx, including this mega-lengthening mascara. Designed to define and extend every lash, it builds length without clumping or flaking.

This popular mask works while you snooze to firm, plump and lift aging skin. It also hydrates immediately and continues working over time, with visible reduction in fine lines and increased firmness meant to show up in as little as a week. At $12.99 compared to its usual price of $55, this is the kind of find that makes the whole TJ Maxx trip worth it!

This K-beauty cult classic has earned its obsessive following for good reason — 92% snail secretion filtrate repairs barrier damage, fades dark spots and delivers deep, lasting hydration that makes skin look genuinely well-rested. What can’t snail mucin do?! Finding this at TJ Maxx for this price when it’s usually $40 is a full-on score.

If you’re going to treat yo’self, you might as well do it in style — and there really isn’t a better way than with a Christian Louboutin lipstick! The iconic lacquered tube alone is worth it, but the formula delivers, too. It gives you six hours of wear, 12 hours of hydration and a luminous satin finish that manages to feel luxurious without being high-maintenance.

This dual-action treatment uses a copper and amino acid blend to visibly minimize pores and keep shine in check, and at just seven bucks, it’s practically a no-brainer to add to your cart. (The 0.5 oz size is ideal for travel or for testing before committing to the full size.)

K-beauty obsessives have been recommending this serum to me for ages, so I couldn’t add it to my cart fast enough. It’s a glow-focused ampoule that aims to brighten, calm and hydrate in one step. With antioxidant support from glutathione, tone evening benefits from niacinamide and barrier-loving centella, it delivers that vibrant, glassy finish K-beauty practically invented.

As an eyeliner aficionado, I consider this one a personal favorite. On one end is a precise liquid liner for your sharp cat-eye moment; on the other is a soft color pencil for when you want something a little more diffused and lived-in. The semi-matte finish lasts up to 16 hours, the color payoff is legit and the double-ended design means you’re essentially getting two liners in one.

My jaw dropped when I saw this cult fave at TJ Maxx. With notes of bergamot, juniper berries, vanilla and sandalwood, this scent is warm, woody and addictive. It’s a favorite fragrance of celebs like Jennifer Garner and sells for upwards of $330 elsewhere. Since Byredo perfumes are notoriously luxurious and pricey, I would not hesitate on this one.

A serum-cream hybrid for your body sounds indulgent, and it is, but at TJ Maxx prices, it feels a lot more justifiable. The neroli scent is warm, citrusy and sophisticated, and the serum-infused formula absorbs beautifully without leaving any greasiness behind. Give your bod what it deserves!

A luxury French skin care staple, this serum blends tropical resins and botanical extracts to help balance oil and refine pores. Sisley’s formulas are known for their research-driven botanicals and premium price tags (this one goes for almost $250 at other retailers).

If you’re in the market for a new curling iron, this Bio Ionic version — which tops many magazine best lists — comes at a major steal (its “normal” price is $160+). The extended barrel makes styling long hair faster and more even, while the signature heat technology helps reduce moisture loss. No wonder it’s a favorite with many hairstylists I know.
