We’ve looked at how to unclog the lymphatic system in a recent video and now Dr. J is chatting about supplements that can support, strengthen, and cleanse your lymph.
Dr. J starts with trusty old’ ginger since it’s really great at alleviating inflammation, and helps with gastroparesis, is a natural biofilm buster, and supports the lymph. Try ginger tea! Red root is Dr. Evan’s favorite because of how it reduces swelling and contains antimicrobial properties. Burdock root is powerful because it also supports the lymph, the cancer community is big on burdock because of the lymphatic cleansing and turn to Essiac products to help clean out the lymph. Systemic enzymes like serrapeptase or lumbrokinase will break up the stagnant fluid in the lymphatic system and restore smooth drainage. Because the lymphatic system is part immune system, it makes sense to also take supplements and herbs that support and strengthen your immune response as well: astragalus, echinacea, medicinal mushrooms (reishi, cordyceps, Mottaki, Shittaki, beta-glucans), and olive leaf to name a few.
